Strong Cold Air Advisory
A powerful cold air mass is currently moving southward from the north and is expected to affect Yuhuan starting today (November 17). Under its influence, the area will experience a significant drop in temperature, strong winds, and light rainfall. The average daily temperature is projected to decrease by 8–10°C.
From today until the morning of November 19, coastal waters, Jishan Township, and higher elevation areas will experience strong winds of Grade 8–10, while other towns and subdistricts will see winds of Grade 6–8.
By Wednesday (November 19), the early morning and evening low temperatures will drop to 3–5°C, with localized areas reaching 1–3°C and possible frost.
Residents and relevant departments across the city are advised to take necessary precautions.
